The LMVFD did some chipping in June on what turned out to be the hottest day of the year!. This home had enormous piles of brush to be taken care of, and this was the second visit to help them! Our Volunteers worked very hard.  This program is designed to remove excess combustible material from the lots, and to provide a nourishing mulch for the landscape.

Homeowners who were helped by this program have been asked to make a donation to the Tecolote Auxiliary as a way of expressing their appreciation for the help that the fire personnel provided.
